This is a list of Social Skills, Social Stories and Script Apps compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. One of the three core symptoms for an autism spectrum disorder is social impairment.

The program is simple and direct.
Responding Social Skills $0.99 – Includes Listen and Respond to Others, Give Directions, Understand Others’ Feelings, and more.
Initiating Social Skills $0.99 - Includes Greet Others/Start Conversations/ Give Information, Introduce Self, and more.
Personal Social Skills $0.99 - Includes Take Responsibility, Be Dependable, Accept Consequences, Maintain Hygiene, Grooming and Dress, and more.
Off We Go to the Dentist $4.99 and Off We Go on a Plane $4.99 - iTunes book apps that help prepare a child with simple, clear pictures and everyday language explaining to them what experiences are likely to happen. video demo
Model Me Going Places $free - Shows children, ages 2-8, in a photo slide show involved in activities in the community. It is designed to familiarize children with locations that may be challenging, and to help teach appropriate behavior in these locations through peer modeling. Topics include doctor, mall, birthday party, hairdresser, dentist, grocery store, transportation, library, playground, restaurant, and school.
QuickCues $4.99 - A social script app that helps teens and young adults on the autism spectrum to handle new situations and learn new skills. Social scripts have been used successfully for years, but QuickCues makes these tools mobile and easy to use in everyday situations. video demo
My Healthy Smile $4.99 - Teaches children about good oral health and to ease anxieties around dental visits. This app offers 11 audio & visual social scripts to show children what to expect at the dentist and how to have good oral care at home. video demo
